# First100

> First100 gives AI agents the ability to publish and schedule posts (text, images, video, LinkedIn PDF carousels), find the conversations and customers worth the user's time, measure what works, check how the user shows up on Google and in AI answers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity), and send outreach. The agent supplies the reasoning and writing; First100 carries out the requested work for the user.

## Set up First100 (instructions for AI agents)
If the user asked you to set up First100, do this. Do not publish, schedule or send anything while setting up.

1. Add First100 as a remote MCP server in your own configuration: name `first100`, transport Streamable HTTP, URL `https://firsthundred.app/api/mcp`. Keep any servers already configured.
   - Claude Code: run `claude mcp add --transport http first100 https://firsthundred.app/api/mcp`, then ask the user to type /mcp, pick first100 and choose Authenticate.
   - Codex: run `codex mcp add first100 --url https://firsthundred.app/api/mcp`, then `codex mcp login first100`.
   - Cursor: add `"first100": { "url": "https://firsthundred.app/api/mcp" }` under `mcpServers` in ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then ask the user to click Connect next to first100 in Cursor's MCP settings.
   - Other clients: use whatever config file or command your client has for remote HTTP MCP servers.
   - claude.ai, Claude Desktop and ChatGPT: you cannot add connectors yourself. Tell the user to paste the URL above into Settings → Connectors (ChatGPT: turn on Developer mode first) and sign in. Guides: https://firsthundred.app/docs/clients
2. Sign-in happens in the user's browser with their First100 account; a plan is needed to use the tools (the week trial is $5, https://firsthundred.app/pricing). If the user has no account, send them to https://firsthundred.app/auth first.
3. If your client cannot do MCP OAuth sign-in, ask the user to create an API key at https://firsthundred.app/dashboard/keys and send it as the header `Authorization: Bearer <key>`, preferably from an environment variable FIRST100_API_KEY. Never write the key into files that are committed or shared.
4. Reload the MCP servers, list the First100 tools, call get_account_status and list_brands, and show the user the result.
5. From then on: when the user says something shipped or changed in their product, call log_update. If the account has more than one brand and the user has not said which, ask before saving, scheduling, publishing or sending anything.

The website account workspace is desktop-only. Public documentation is readable without signing in. Discover current tools from the authenticated MCP server, then verify access with get_account_status and list_connected_accounts. Keep credentials out of documentation requests.
